MAHJONG classes

Monthly group classes are held at 1861 Distillery on Monday mornings from 9am-12pm. Check Signup Genius for the next available class and to reserve your spot at the table!

Cost is $60/person and is due at the time of reservation. A minimum of 4 students is needed to make the class, so your fee will be refunded if necessary. The class is 3 hours long, which allows plenty of time for instruction and 1-2 practice games.

If you would prefer to hold a class in your home, contact me for possible dates. I work full time, so I only have a few of these dates available in any given month. The cost is the same ($60/person, minimum of 4 people) but the benefit is that the hostess receives her class for free! I can teach up to 16 people, so the more the merrier! Note that depending on the location, a travel fee and/or minimum class size may be required.

After completion of Mahjong 101, all students will be invited to join my “Mahjong Monday” open play sessions. These are held from 10am-12pm and 6-8pm on alternating Mondays at my home in Thomasville. This is a great way to practice your gameplay before starting a group of your own, not to mention it’s a fun time of fellowship with other mahjong enthusiasts!
